At first I am not quite sure, but after I have used it, it makes my teeth feel clean and fresh. I love the minty taste to it. Only my first week so I cannot tell yet how it will whiten my teeth (hopefully). My teeth are not bad anyway, but yes I will recommend this product. A bit of powder goes a long way and it does clean the teeth. I cannot complain.
